Wrexham AFC’s academy players now represent the Red Dragons in The Central League as a reserve squad under Andy Lowe. But who are the club’s current clutch of young prospects?
The Racecourse Ground side reformed their youth set-up with a reserve team from the start of the 2022/23 campaign. Wrexham AFC manager Phil Parkinson sought to create a superior platform for their academy players to develop and reach the Wrexham AFC first-team squad.
Lowe’s side play their Central League home games at Nantwich Town’s Swansway Stadium. While Wrexham AFC’s academy also features an Under-18s side that competes in the Youth Alliance League. Jordan Davies and Scott Butler also developed in Wrexham AFC’s academy.
