Elliot Lee had an absolutely stunning volley disallowed against LA Galaxy, which looking back on it definitely should’ve stood.
Wrexham got their first win of their US Tour as they faced LA Galaxy in Carson, California – beating the MLS side 4-0 in what was a dominant display.
This was a much-needed win for the Red Dragons, as they came off the back of a 5-0 defeat to Premier League giants, Chelsea. The four goals will give them a much-needed boost as they face even fiercer opposition next – in the form of Manchester United.
But four could’ve been five for Wrexham, and it should’ve been. They had an absolutely stunning strike wrongly disallowed.

Elliot Lee has stunning goal disallowed against LA Galaxy
On the stroke of 23 minutes into the fixture, it appeared that Lee had broken the deadlock with what was a ridiculous strike.
The ball was clipped in by Paul Mullin after some fantastic one-touch passing to which Lee chested down and acrobatically volleyed home on the turn.
But the referee had other ideas. Lee was flagged for ‘offside’ – which watching a video back definitely was not the case.
Lee was robbed of one of the greatest goals Wrexham supporters have been treated to in years. A real shame.
Despite this – the result is the most important thing. The Red Dragons dispatched all four in the second half in what was a really ruthless display.
Saying this… it would’ve been nice for Lee’s beautiful goal to count. You can check it out below.
