Wrexham left it late to snatch a point at Forest Green Rovers with Paul Mullin the hero as he bagged an injury-time penalty.
This felt like a must-win game for Wrexham.
Defeat at Gillingham on Saturday afternoon meant Wrexham really needed a positive result against struggling Forest Green Rovers.
The night started in the worst possible fashion as Emmanuel Osadebe opened the scoring for the hosts on just three minutes.
Wrexham spent most of the game on top, having 75% of possession and 19 shots on the Forest Green goal.
Yet as the clock ticked down, many Wrexham fans had probably given up hope of a goal as few of those shots seemed genuinely threatening.
Wrexham found the leveller with just seconds to spare though as Paul Mullin stepped up to smash a late penalty down the middle of the goal, snatching a point from the jaws of defeat.

After the win over Notts County, it felt like Wrexham were building momentum again.
A point at MK Dons wasn’t a terrible result either and it seemed that Wrexham were coming out of a sticky patch with some renewed vigour.
The last few days have been hard to watch though, falling to a meek defeat at Gillingham and then needing a last-minute penalty at Forest Green Rovers.
Wrexham don’t look like a huge threat from open play right now and it’s hard to imagine a top-three finish unless something changes.
We can appreciate everything Phil Parkinson has done for Wrexham and a season coasting to the title was never going to happen, but he has questions to answer right now.
Wrexham’s performances aren’t at the level expected, the away form is poor and whilst many League Two clubs would dream of Wrexham’s forward options, the attack just isn’t clicking.
The pressure would have been on Parkinson with a defeat and arguably still is even after that Mullin penalty.
Wrexham are in a strong position right now but the performances have been tough to watch, especially away from home.
Do Wrexham currently look like a side who can go away from home in the play-offs and secure a positive result?
Right now, you would have doubts.
Just two points from a possible nine over the last week has just brought that momentum to a halt again and Parkinson ultimately needs to get more out of this group.
Yes, there are injuries and suspensions and we understand that Parkinson doesn’t have his absolute first-choice lineup available right now.
Wrexham really can’t afford to let this opportunity slip away though and unless Parkinson can get some improves results and performances soon, few could blame Rob McElhenney or Ryan Reynolds for at least considering a change in order to get to League One.
