A trip to Doncaster Rovers awaits Wrexham tonight and Phil Parkinson must be wary of one talented player.

After beating Mansfield Town 2-0 on Good Friday, Phil Parkinson‘s men watched Notts County draw 3-3 against rivals MK Dons, leaving the Reds a chance to go five points clear of fourth place with a game in hand.
A win against Doncaster Rovers tonight wouldn’t secure Wrexham’s automatic promotion, but they would take a giant leap towards that.
With a huge chance to create clear daylight between them and the chasing pack, Parkinson’s side face the difficult task of beating a Rovers team who have won their last four matches in League Two to pull well clear of danger.
There’s one man for the hosts who has inspired their rise to safety and that is exciting winger Hakeeb Adelakun.

Doncaster weren’t in trouble when they signed Adelakun on loan from Lincoln City in January, but following a 5-1 defeat against Stockport County, Grant McCann’s men needed a spark in the final third.
A tricky and pacey winger, whose first thought is to beat his man, Adelakun has brought the X Factor to the Rovers attack and his form since dropping down to the fourth tier has been exceptional.
Despite only scoring three in 19 League One matches, the 27-year-old has plundered six goals and supplied four assists in 12 appearances for Doncaster.
Playing predominantly off the left flank, Adelakun will be coming up against Wrexham right wing-back Luke Bolton, who must be at his best to stop the wingers’ “magic”.

Everyone who has watched Bolton during this campaign knows how good he is going forward.
The 24-year-old has produced six assists at Salford City and Wrexham combined while Parkinson has hailed him as a “real threat”.
Defensively, however, the Manchester City academy graduate isn’t tested as much, but Adelakun will pose some problems tonight as he opens his box of tricks and incredible skill to create chances for his teammates.
Bolton has to be switched on to that threat, especially as Doncaster will look to spring on the counter attack and catch the visitors out cold.
As an attacking wing-back with electric pace, Parkinson will expect Bolton to wreak havoc in the opposing half, but being on guard defensively will just be as important in Wrexham’s quest to take a giant leap towards promotion.
