Ryan Longman impressed as Wrexham came out on top to see off Lincoln City.
Wrexham set a record against Lincoln on May 3, ending their promotion-winning campaign in style.
The Red Dragons had nothing to play for on Saturday, but Phil Parkinson still put out a strong squad.
Wrexham fans questioned Paul Mullin’s absence again, with Parkinson opting for the same eleven, except and injured Jay Rodriguez, that beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 last time out.
The Welsh outfit dominated the tie, and it was Elliot Lee who put the visitors in front, getting on the end of a Ryan Longman cross.
Longman then scored the club’s second of the day and his first goal since his January switch from Hull City.

After netting for the first time in a Wrexham shirt, fans have taken to social media to praise the wing-back.
Longman has taken Ryan Barnett’s starting berth in recent months, and who of the two is the better option has caused debate among fans.
One fan wrote: “How anyone can say Barnett is better than Longman is beyond me. What a signing he’s been.”
Another replied: “Barney was one of our best player first half of the season to be fair mate, Longman really impressed me recently though to be fair.”

A fourth added: “WELL DESERVED FOR LONGMAN!!! He’s been great for us!!!” And a fifth wrote: “Deserve it Longman, been ——- class.”

It’s clear Parkinson will have a real selection headache when it comes to choosing who is number one right-wing-back will be in the Championship.
Barnett’s assist return is very impressive despite losing his place to Longman.
But the ex-Hull man has shone of late, including against Lincoln on May 3.
