Wrexham face off with Leyton Orient in a League One clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Dragons face a trip to Brisbane Road for a 3pm BST kick-off on September 28th.

Wrexham beat Crawley Town 2-1 in their last fixture, keeping Phil Parkinson and his men top of the League One table for the time being, though Birmingham City do have a game in hand right now.

The Welsh side’s upcoming opponents have not had the best start to the season and Parkinson was in attendance to watch Leyton Orient draw 2-2 with Peterborough United earlier this week.

After that match, Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson told Wrexham how to beat Leyton Orient, who go into the weekend’s action sat down in 16th place with just two wins from their first seven league fixtures of 2024/25.

Here is all the latest team and injury news plus our predicted eleven for Saturday’s meeting between Wrexham and Leyton Orient.

Wrexham team news ahead of Leyton Orient

For the most part, Wrexham do not really have any injury concerns going into the game.

Paul Mullin and Jacob Mendy have both returned to training in the last few weeks after their recent issues.

Aside from that duo, Luke Bolton is the only concern Parkinson has ahead of Leyton Orient, with the player likely to miss out after suffering a foot injury.

Bolton has missed the last two games with the problem and Saturday’s tie will likely come too soon for him.

For the most part though, Parkinson should be very happy with how his side have fared on the injury front this term.

Wrexham predicted XI vs Leyton Orient

Andy Cannon was dropped to the bench for Wrexham’s meeting with Birmingham City last Monday.

But he returned to the starting line-up against Crawley to play 79 minutes and should keep his place in midfield alongside George Dobson and Elliot Lee.

The defence is expected to look very similar as well, with Ryan Barnett keeping Sebastian Revan out of the team due to his superb start to 2024/25.

The one big change to the side could come up front, with Parkinson now having a serious selection dilemma on his hands.

Max Cleworth called Mullin ‘ridiculous’ earlier this year after he reached 100 goals for Wrexham.

But the forward did not look at his best when he started last weekend and Parkinson may now want to bring Jack Marriott back into the eleven after he scored four in his first six league games of the season.

Here’s how we think Wrexham will line up against Leyton Orient on Saturday…
