Wrexham are back in action once again this evening, hosting Harrogate Town at the Racecourse as the promotion push continues.

Phil Parkinson saw Wrexham pick up a crucial away win on Saturday, beating Morecambe 3-1 on the road.

Wrexham’s away form has been under the microscope of late and picking up that win on Saturday was a major boost.

It’s back to home comforts tonight though with Harrogate Town the visitors as Wrexham continue to chase promotion.

Parkinson will be weighing up his team selection for this one, so here is our prediction for Wrexham’s lineup agains Harrogate…

Wrexham predicted lineup v Harrogate Town

Arthur Okonkwo perhaps could have done better with Morecambe’s opener on Saturday but we would be stunned to see him lose his place tonight.

Parkinson usually picks a three-man defence ahead of him and we would be surprised to see changes from Saturday.

Max Cleworth, Eoghan O’Connell and Will Boyle lined up on Saturday and should keep their places tonight.

Jacob Mendy should feature at left wing back whilst Ryan Barnett has pulled clear of Luke Bolton as the right wing back.

James McClean has been superb in midfield of late and will surely keep his place in the engine room.

Andy Cannon and Elliot Lee are mainstays of the midfield too, so we could back them to start against Harrogate.

There may be a temptation to make a change to freshen up the attack, which is where Parkinson has often made changes of late.

Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer have been thriving together again of late but Steven Fletcher came off the bench to score against Morecambe on Saturday.

We may just see some rotation with Fletcher coming in to give Palmer a rest ahead of facing Tranmere Rovers this weekend.

That would only be one change from Saturday’s team but Parkinson will want to get some momentum going with that lineup and that’s why we aren’t predicting many alterations.

Wrexham predicted lineup (5-3-2): Okonkwo; Barnett, Cleworth, O’Connell, Boyle, Mendy; McClean, Cannon, Lee; Fletcher, Mullin.
