Former Wrexham striker Kayden Jackson is pushing towards the Premier League with promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town.
Few Wrexham fans watching the 2015-16 season would have predicted seeing a Premier League player of the future.
Wrexham finished 11 points short of the play-offs and Gary Mills ended up losing his job inside six months of that season coming to a close.
Look through that squad and you will find some notable names; Mark Carrington springs to mind whilst Connor Jennings is still scoring goals in the EFL now.
Then there is Kayden Jackson, a striker signed from Tamworth in the summer of 2015.
Then just 21, Jackson managed just four league goals in his solitary season at Wrexham before rejecting a new deal to stay at the club.

Jackson landed a Championship move with Barnsley upon leaving Wrexham in 2016, but lasted just a year there before joining Accrington Stanley.
That’s where Jackson’s career really changed, smashing 16 goals to earn a huge £1.6million switch to Ipswich Town.
Jackson’s nomadic career halted there and nearly six years since joining the Tractor Boys, Jackson is still going strong.
28 goals in 194 games isn’t an incredible record for a striker but Jackson has played an important role this season.
Jackson offers great pace and work rate, making himself a real nuisance for Championship defenders whether from the start or off the bench.
The 30-year-old came on down the right flank in Ipswich’s 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and produced a superb assist for Nathan Broadhead.
“Kayden got straight into the flow of the game, produced a fantastic cross for the third goal, which was a massive goal in the game, and was a big threat in the second half,” said Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna.
Ipswich sit just one point off an automatic promotion spot and Jackson could play a vital role in helping them teach the top flight.
Jackson is out of contract this summer, so he is ultimately playing for a new deal as well as trying to reach the Premier League.
Jackson has gone further than many would have predicted though and some may even want Wrexham to be in the mix for his signature should he become available again this summer.
