A summer of excitement awaits Wrexham supporters as Phil Parkinson delivers an update on their recruitment.
For most supporters, the period between the season ending and the transfer window opening feels like an age, particularly for Wrexham fans.
They’ve just watched their side earn consecutive promotions for the first time in their history, reaching a level they’ve not played at for almost two decades.
Excitement is therefore building ahead of their campaign in League One and Ryan Reynolds has added fuel to that excitement by claiming he’ll do whatever it takes to get the Welsh powerhouse into the Championship.
So far, there haven’t been many, if any, concrete links to players ahead of the transfer window opening, but Reynolds’ ambition of achieving a third promotion in a row points towards Wrexham splashing the cash this summer.
The purse strings at Wrexham certainly won’t be tightened and Phil Parkinson is already drafting up a shortlist of potential targets.

Ahead of the club’s first season in League One since 2004/05, nine players have been released, including long-serving captains Luke Young and Ben Tozer, to make room for new signings in the squad.
Having achieved promotion from this level twice with Bolton and Colchester previously, Parkinson knows how to build a competitive side to manage expectations.
The 56-year-old has already spoken with potential targets, but since some clubs are yet to announce their retained list, he expects the Welsh side to be busier as the summer progresses.
Speaking to The Leader, Parkinson said: “There’s lots of options out there at the moment and we are just having chats with a few players and agents which is normal at this time of the year.
“Obviously with the play-offs and the Premier League season just finishing, there’s still a lot of retained lists to come out.
“I feel we are in a good place with the options which are emerging.
“Nothing is certainly imminent but hopefully by the start of the season we will have recruited some good players.”
Wrexham fans must be patient this summer
Wrexham’s transfer window last summer was hectic, signing James McClean in August before wrapping up the loan signing of Arthur Okonkwo and a permanent deal for George Evans on deadline day.
The Reds only captured five first-team players and most of them were sealed later on as opposed to at the start.
Whilst supporters are clamouring for the club to get their business done early, previous windows show that patience is a virtue and the Welsh side can be trusted to get their dealings right.
After all, their success across the last two seasons is unparalleled and that is largely down to how savvy they’ve been in the market.
Now Wrexham are in League One, their stock has skyrocketed even higher, which means they have the pull and capacity to sign bigger players.
It points towards a potentially exciting summer as they aim to challenge towards the top end of the table.
