Clubs now mock Wrexham after hilarious mistake in documentary graphic

Welcome To Wrexham became an incredibly popular show following its release in 2022, but despite its success, not everything has panned out as expected.

Fans on social media were quick to point out a wildly inaccurate graphic featured on the show, which attempted to show a map of English clubs and their locations across the country.

The idea of the map was fine, the execution however, was not. The map contains an incredible amount of errors, with Brentford located next to Blackburn, Newcastle below Leeds United, and Everton below Newcastle.

It’s safe to say that fans, and the clubs involved, are not impressed.

Some of the worst-affected clubs by the map have now taken to Twitter to express their disapproval at the inaccuracies in the map, and have done so in the best possible way.

“We’re just a bus stop in Hexham. We have questions,” Brentford tweeted in response to being labelled as one of the most northern clubs in the country.

“Going down the B̴o̴l̴t̴o̴n̴ ̴R̴o̴a̴d̴ Hadrian’s Wall… to see the Blackburn aces!” Blackburn replied after also being placed miles away from Ewood Park.

Some fans could not work out how the map could be just so flawed, and highlighted just how bad some of the errors were, whilst others were able to see the funny side.

“I thought Everton, Swans and Cardiff being in the wrong country was bad but then I noticed Brentford,” one user claimed.

“People always point out how many clubs there are in the Midlands, which is especially true once you add QPR into the mix,” someone claimed.

“The replies on this are gold, the entire English system sit in the palm of Rob and Ryan’s hands,” a Wrexham fan pointed out.

“I’ve always said that Blyth Spartans Vs Brentford is the biggest local derby in England and that Everton are the biggest club in North Wales,” a user joked.

With clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea being omitted in favour of Blyth Spartans, the reasoning behind this map will be quite interesting if it is ever explained.
