Wrexham have confirmed two new signings this week as Phil Parkinson continues to strengthen ahead of the new League One campaign.
The League One season is fast approaching and Wrexham are trying to bolster Phil Parkinson’s options.
Three deals were completed before facing Hanley Town last weekend as Arthur Okonkwo, Lewis Brunt and George Dobson all arrived.
Wrexham then treated fans to not one but two signings on Monday night.
Goalkeeper Callum Burton signed on as competition for Okonkwo before left back Sebastian Revan arrived from Aston Villa.
Wrexham’s squad is really starting to take shape now with depth added and the age profile brought down a little after back-to-back promotions.

Deadpool reference spotted on Wrexham ‘contract’
Wrexham have taken a rather unique approach to announcing signings this summer.
Rather than the standard announcements, Wrexham have decided to showcase new additions via a HP printer.
Yes, that’s right – thousands of Wrexham fans flock to watch a printer churn out a faux contract every time the club have a new signing to announce.
For the first time, the now-famous printer brought out two names as Burton and Revan both arrived.
Yet eagle-eyed Wrexham fans may have noticed that there were some curious terms on Burton’s ‘contract’, as captured by fan @nic_olax on social media.
On section three of Burton’s paperwork – under ‘duties’ – the first point states ‘the player must agree that Deadpool would beat Wolverine in a fight’.
Deadpool is, of course, played by Ryan Reynolds, and he has been promoting his new film Deadpool & Wolverine alongside co-star Hugh Jackman of late.
Point two stated ‘they will accept payment via Mouse Pay’ and the third point states ‘they must, every now and then, be a backup dancer for The Declan Swans’.
We can only assume that these points are not legally binding, although fans may love to see Burton dancing along to It’s Always Sunny in Wrexham, a la Bez from Happy Mondays.
Further points on the ‘contract’ state ‘the player must also have ‘aura’, whatever that means’.
These joke contracts are a goldmine for inside jokes and references, something to keep Wrexham fans with their eyes peeled whenever a new signing is announced.
We would anticipate more Deadpool jokes for future signings with Reynolds using his star power to crack a few jokes during the transfer window.
Whenever another signing arrives, fans will be going through these mock contracts with precision, trying to find the latest jokes from Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as the club’s celebrity owners continue to have some fun alongside their very serious duties.
