After thumping Crawley Town 4-1 last night, it has become clear how many points Wrexham need to win promotion to League One.
Following four wins in their last five matches, Wrexham have edged closer to sealing promotion from League Two.
The latest of those wins came last night as Phil Parkinson‘s men demolished Crewley at the STōK Cae Ras with Ryan Barnett, Andy Cannon and Paul Mullin all getting on the scoresheet.
For a while now, the Reds have either sat inside the automatic promotion places or just outside and with just three matches left, it is clear how many points Wrexham need to confirm their fate.

Their win over Crawley was big, but their comeback victory over Colchester United on Saturday felt even bigger as Mansfield and Crewe Alexandra dropped points while MK Dons lost on Easter Monday.
Three points last night have the Reds secured in second position, five points ahead of MK Dons.
Wrexham also have an outside chance of winning the title, as Stockport are four points clear at the top, but they play them on the final day.
The Welsh side can officially confirm their promotion to League One by taking five points from their remaining games or winning their next two matches against Forest Green and Crewe. However, their fairytale promotion to the third tier can happen on Saturday depending on results elsewhere.

The weekend always brings about excitement with various outcomes possible. Wrexham can win promotion this weekend if they take all three points at home to Forest Green and MK Dons and Barrow fail to overcome Mansfield and Gillingham respectively.
In the case of that outcome, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will savour the joy of achieving back-to-back promotions in English football.
This would be the first time in Wrexham’s 159-year history that they have achieved successive promotions, with the Reds returning to the third tier for the first time since their relegation in 2005.
Regardless of whether promotion is achieved this weekend, Parkinson’s squad of talented players, spearheaded by goal-scoring machine Mullin, look destined to play League One football sooner rather than later.
