Wrexham fans have been full of praise for goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo following some great performances.

The 22-year old signed for Wrexham on loan, over the summer, following the shock retirement of Ben Foster.

Despite the disappointment of losing a senior figure, Phil Parkinson can be happy with the man they’ve brought in.

Okonkwo signed for the Reds over the summer and made his first appearance for the club in September.

Since then he has kept three clean sheets, and the Dragons are yet to lose with the Arsenal loanee in between the sticks.

As a result of this, many fans are voicing their delight with the new number one.

What have fans said about Arthur Okonkwo?

It is safe to say the Englishman has endeared himself to the fans in a short time since replacing Foster this summer.

With that being said many fans have thanked their former goalkeeper as his departure has allowed them to have Okonkwo.

This fan is clearly happy with how everything worked out. With some great performances by the new man, he had propelled the Reds up the league. Foster has been quite outspoken about his performances and was completely honest with fans.

It is clear that this honesty has made him even more liked by the fans at The Racecourse, being referred to as ‘legend’.

Fans are now desperate to keep the Arsenal man on a permanent basis. Given the current situation at the Gunners, he is unlikely to get a game there. This fan has even gone as far as to tag Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in an attempt to get him to sign.

This is not the only fan demanding that the club sign him permanently, in a huge compliment to Okonkwo.

Even with some defensive frailties, the fans are pleased with their goalkeeper for his performances. This fan has praised his ‘solid game’ as he made five saves against Mansfield.

A very productive and positive start for the Arsenal loanee and long may his great form continue for the Reds.
