Away wins have been hard to come by in League One for Wrexham.
Before heading to Yorkshire on Saturday afternoon, Wrexham had won just one of five away league games this season.
Draws at Bolton Wanderers and Leyton Orient were no great shame and neither was defeat at Birmingham City, but the win at Peterborough United remained Wrexham’s only away day win before Saturday.
Well, Phil Parkinson now has another one to add to the tally after a fine display against Rotherham.
Wrexham only needed one goal to beat the Millers and it came within 20 seconds as Paul Mullin converted Ryan Barnett’s early cross.

Wrexham had to withstand considerable pressure from the hosts.
Rotherham had more than 66% of possession and 17 shots on the Wrexham goal but Parkinson’s men stood strong.

Ker was watching the game on the television and was blown away by just how loud the Wrexham supporters were at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Andy Morrell reacts
Wrexham fans were, of course, outnumbered at Rotherham but the sheer noise being made certainly impressed Ker.
That sentiment was shared by former Wrexham striker Andy Morrell, who responded to Ker by suggesting that the away end was ‘bouncing’ as Wrexham fans created quite the atmosphere.
There is nothing quite like an away day victory.
Wrexham’s home record is exceptional under Parkinson and that brilliance at the STōK Cae Ras will form the backbone of any successful season.
Fans love the away days though, travelling across borders to go and cheer on Wrexham with friends, family and other die-hards.
That winning feeling on the journey home is unmatched and Wrexham fans can certainly celebrate a fine weekend.
