Wrexham are set to face Crawley Town as they look to get back to winning ways in League Two, but this will require an improvement.
Phil Parkinson’s side are winless in their last three games, which included a 5-0 thrashing away at Stockport, and have won just one game on the road this season.
Ahead of today’s game, Parkinson has emphasised the need for his players to enjoy these away trips, and the chance to play at League Two grounds compared to the National League.
Parkinson wants more from away games
Speaking to The Leader, Parkinson called on his players to enjoy the tough challenges presented by away trips in League Two.
“We have worked so hard as a club to get to places like this, better stages for our fans to come and see us,” said the Reds’ boss.
“It is important that we are shoulders back and we go and relish these games we play in.
“We have come a long way from two years ago running out at Aldershot on a Tuesday night in front of a thousand people, to playing with a full-house at Mansfield in a cracking atmosphere.
“When Wrexham are in town and there is a sell-out, we had it the last two years in the National League and this is no different.
“We have got to get used to it again, that it is a cup-tie type of atmosphere wherever we go.
“Every game is going to be like that and we have got to be ready for it.”
Wrexham’s dip in form

Today is an important chance for Wrexham to lay down a marker about their promotion ambitions, and to end their poor run of form.
If Wrexham are to finish within the playoff spots, they will need to start taking more points on the road, and with Crawley three points and four places ahead, a win today would be a great step in the right direction.
Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer are both starting upfront for Wrexham, and both will hope to get on the scoresheet and build upon their partnership in attack after last season’s success.
