Wrexham ace James McClean has taken to social media to slam Tranmere Rovers substitute Jean Belehouan for his celebrations on Saturday.
Wrexham really needed to turn in a strong display on Saturday having only managed a 0-0 draw against Harrogate Town in midweek.
It was another home disappointment in a matter of days though as Wrexham fell to a 1-0 defeat against rivals Tranmere Rovers.
Luke Norris scored the only goal of the game, latching onto a long ball forward before firing past Arthur Okonkwo.
Wrexham just didn’t have the cutting edge to find a leveller and slipped to a frustrating defeat, meaning it’s just one point from two home games this week.
James McClean mocks Tranmere Rovers substitute
Tranmere fans, players and staff all celebrated wildly at the full-time whistle, celebrating a victory in a derby game just as Wrexham would have done if the result had been a little different.
An away win over your rivals is always cause for excitement but Wrexham ace James McClean wasn’t too impressed with what he witnessed.
McClean was suspended for this one and had to go through the difficult position of watching on, being unable to make a real impact.
McClean had to watch on as Tranmere substitute Jean Belehouan celebrated passionately in front of the travelling Rovers fans.

The Frenchman – formerly of the Manchester United and Sheffield United ranks – couldn’t hide his delight as he ran over to the Tranmere supporters and threw a few fist pumps.
McClean has now taken to social media to react, calling Belehouan an ‘absolute wally’ for his celebrations.
The Irishman added that Belehouan was especially ‘embarrassing’ given that he didn’t even come off the bench to play a part in Tranmere’s win.
Wrexham supporters will probably love that McClean has fired a strong response to Belehouan but may be left feeling that his presence was missed on Saturday.
McClean will be back in action soon enough and will hope to help Wrexham get back on track after a difficult few days.
