Wrexham are back in League One after nearly 20 years away having smashed Forest Green Rovers 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Phil Parkinson and co celebrated promotion from the National League a year ago and here we are again.
Wrexham got the job done in style on Saturday, blowing Forest Green away with a stunning first-half performance.
Wrexham were 4-0 up by the break and added two more in the second half to book a spot in League One for next season.
Back to back promotions is quite the achievement for Wrexham, even with the investment and backing from Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Mansfield Town’s 4-1 win over Milton Keynes Dons pushed Wrexham over the line and seeing another promotion party on the STōK Cae Ras pitch was simply amazing to watch.
Wrexham can start planning for life in League One and have now received praise from a former player.

Lee Trundle on Wrexham promotion
Whilst he may be best remembered for his Swansea City days – and the subsequent Soccer AM fame – striker Trundle impressed at Wrexham too.
Plucked from Rhyl in 2001, Trundle scored 30 times in 102 appearances for Wrexham and went on to become an EFL regular.
Trundle has kept Wrexham close to his heart and he has now taken to social media to react to the club’s promotion success.
Trundle offered his congratulations to Wrexham before offering a rather bold prediction.
The former Wrexham hitman stated ‘see you in the Championship 2025/26’, backing the club to make it three promotions in a row.
That would be a huge ask; the jump from League Two to League One will feel bigger than the one from National League to League Two.
Still, Wrexham are making enormous progress under McElhenney and Reynolds and they certainly won’t be putting a ceiling on what the club can achieve.
Wrexham face big decisions
Parkinson and co can really start pushing forward with plans for next season now and there is work to be done.
Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is only on loan from Arsenal but becomes a free agent this summer and could be signed for free.
Aaron Hayden, Ben Tozer and Jordan Tunnicliffe are all out of contract so a couple of centre backs may well be needed at the STōK Cae Ras.
Luke Young is also out of contract so a midfielder or two will surely be on the radar, whilst a decision must also come on the option in James McClean’s contract.
Wrexham will be looking to add real quality to make that jump from League Two to League One, but having enough to mount a charge for the Championship may be a bridge too far right now.
