Ollie Palmer has spoken out after it was confirmed that a promotion-winning Wrexham hero has retired.
There has been a lot of change at the Racecourse Ground since they won promotion from League One.
Among the main areas impacted was Wrexham’s striker department, which now looks completely different from this time 12 months ago.
Ollie Palmer has left the Welsh outfit for free after having his contract terminated.
Elsewhere, Steven Fletcher was not offered a new deal by the club, departed for nothing this summer, and has now officially retired.

Ollie Palmer message after Steven Fletcher retires
Post-exit, Fletcher hinted he could retire after not being offered a new contract by Wrexham.
He is now 38 years of age and has enjoyed a prolific career, which included winning promotions from League Two and League One with Wrexham.
Fletcher confirmed his retirement on Monday, with Humphrey Ker penning a message to the former attacker.
Now, ex-Wrexham teammate Palmer has joined the growing list of stars speaking out on the ex-Scotland international hanging up his boots this week.
Taking to his Instagram story, the 33-year-old posted a picture of himself and Fletcher together, along with the caption: “Happy retirement bab,” followed by a love-heart emoji.

How many goals did Steven Fletcher score for Wrexham
The Scotsman had a brilliant career and scored the bulk of his goals for Hibernian FC (52).
He joined Wrexham in 2023 on a free transfer, enjoying two seasons in North Wales.
Fletcher found the net eight times in 33 League Two matches during the 2023/24 campaign.
Last season, meanwhile, he matched that tally, scoring eight in the third tier while also providing one assist.
