Jake Bickerstaff on his goal vs Walsall

Bickerstaff is one of the most exciting young talents in this Wrexham side.

He didn’t make any league appearances during the 2022/23 campaign, but he netted three times in two matches in FA Trophy action against Scunthorpe United and Altrincham.

Now this year Parkinson believes the young lad can step up for the Red Dragons, and he proved so against Walsall with a fantastic finish.

Asked by the club’s media team how the feeling felt, Bickerstaff responded:

“It is an out-of-body experience and you do really appreciate the whole surroundings in that moment. It’s like being on cloud nine with the Wrexham fans cheering and celebrating.”

At just 21 years of age, the striker has the world at his feet. It’s going to be mega exciting watching him this season.
