Everybody seems to want a slice of the Wrexham rise right now and former England defender Rio Ferdinand is no different.
Nobody could have predicted Wrexham become a ‘Hollywood club’ just a few years ago.
The entire trajectory of Wrexham changed upon the arrival of Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds during the 2020-21 season.
From the rise of the ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary series to the on-pitch success of back-to-back promotions, Wrexham are the talk of the game.
All eyes will be on Wrexham as a League One campaign beckons, with many no doubt interested to see how realistic a third promotion in a row really is under Phil Parkinson.

Rio Ferdinand offers help to Ryan Reynolds
Having Hollywood owners has catapulted Wrexham into a completely new spotlight.
The club have become immensely popular in the United States and another pre-season tour there this summer will only boost the fanbase.
Even former England international Rio Ferdinand is even wanting to ask questions about Wrexham and did so when speaking to Reynolds.
Speaking on FIVE, Ferdinand quizzed Reynolds on both his acting career and his role as co-chairman at Wrexham.
Ferdinand opened by admitting his respect for Reynolds and the Wrexham project – but that quickly turned to Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman suggesting that he should move to Wrexham.
Ferdinand – who is now 45 and retired nine years ago – made it absolutely clear that he simply cannot play football anymore despite Reynolds suggesting otherwise.
The former Manchester United star did though suggest that he would be open to helping Wrexham off the pitch, believing that he can assist Reynolds behind the scenes.
Reynolds joked that he could use some help off the pitch, but we wouldn’t expect to see Ferdinand taking on a role at the STōK Cae Ras any time soon.
Rio Ferdinand: “Ryan, listen, Wrexham, I mean, listen, I have huge respect for what you have done.”
Ryan Reynolds: “How much respect? Are you willing to relocate and… ?”
Rio Ferdinand: “In what capacity are you looking for me to kind of be recruited?
Ryan Reynolds: “I think you could…”
Rio Ferdinand: “I can’t play no more, man.”
Hugh Jackman: “Why not?”
Ryan Reynolds: “Come on.”
Rio Ferdinand: “I can’t play no more, man, but I would help you off the pitch. I would help you, man.”
Ryan Reynolds: “I could use some of that, too.”
Reynolds and Jackman crash Spanish TV
With the new Deadpool & Wolverine film set to come out later in July, Reynolds and Jackman will no doubt be seen across the media in the coming weeks.
Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer featured in the trailer for the film and fans may be flocking to watch the movie just in case Palmer makes any more surprise appearances.
Speaking of surprise appearances, Reynolds and Jackman did just that this weekend.
The pair crashed the set of Spanish TV station Teledeporte, arriving in Germany to watch the Netherlands against Turkiye, just 24 hours after Spain progressed against Euro 2024 hosts Spain.
Reynolds backed Spain to go all the way and win Euro 2024, but noticeably said the same about England when speaking to Ferdinand.
Wrexham will be the full focus for Reynolds in terms of football, but he is now facing a big summer as the club look to push forward just as he attempts to promote his new film.
