Wrexham are set to enter a huge summer period both on and off the pitch – and it isn’t just the men’s team at the centre of attention.
Yes, Phil Parkinson has guided Wrexham’s men to back-to-back promotions and there is huge excitement around a first League One campaign since the 2004-05 season.
The new series of Welcome to Wrexham is out, new signings will be arriving this summer and there is a pre-season tour to look forward to as well.
Wrexham will head to the United States for three huge games ahead of the League One campaign.
Chelsea, Vancouver Whitecaps and Bournemouth will all face Wrexham this summer as the club’s profile continues to rise over in the United States.
The same goes for Wrexham’s women, who will also be on the ‘Wrex Coast Tour’, as confirmed by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds back in March.

McElhenney and Reynolds are back again this week, confirming that tickets are now on sale for the Wrexham Women games.
Reynolds poked fun at McElhenney and his show ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ in the process.
The Wrexham co-owners have really become invested in the women’s team and are continuing to drive the hype.
The likes of Rosie Hughes and Lili Jones are becoming just as popular as some of the men’s team right now.
Hughes, Jones and their teammates are now being seen regularly on ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, with his push ensuring that it isn’t just the men benefiting from Wrexham’s rise in popularity.
Fans will now be heading out to see Wrexham Women in action this summer with their fixture list confirmed in that video with McElhenney and Reynolds.
Wrexham Women fixtures
Wrexham Women will start against SoCal FC, a semi-professional side based in California.
That game will take place on Saturday 20th July, the same weekend as Wrexham’s clash with Bournemouth.
The second fixture takes place just a day later as Wrexham face Tigres Female’s Under-10 side in California.
Finally, Wrexham will face the Portland Thorns Academy side on Saturday 27th July.
The men’s team are also in action on that weekend, taking on MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
