Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney has sent a farewell message to Bryce Hosannah.
Wrexham endured a fairly subdued January transfer window, making just three signing in Luke McNicholas, Luke Bolton, and Jack Marriott, with the later two joining on deadline day.
Phil Parkinson will hope his side is well-stocked in their quest for a second successive promotion, though many will think that the Dragons could’ve done with one or two more yesterday.
Deadline day also say Hosannah leave the club by mutual consent; the 24-year-old former Leeds United man joined Wrexham for the 2021/22 season and went on to make 33 total league appearance for the club, with one goal to his name in that time.
But injury would hamper his time in Wales with Hosannah featuring just eight times in the last promotion-winning campaign, and just once in League Two this season.
Wrexham announced yesterday that he had left the club with immediate effect and co-owner McElhenney posted this farewell message on X:

It’s definitely not been an easy ride for Hosannah over the past couple of seasons.
When fit and available, he was an important player for Parkinson, showing that in the 2021/22 season when he featured 24 times in the National League.
But for the club, it just didn’t make sense to keep him on the books anymore, and his exit takes a bit of strain off the wage bill ahead of what looks like a busy summer for Wrexham.
And for Hosannah, another chapter now lies ahead.
He’ll be focusing on returning to full fitness and then finding a new club; he definitely has potential and if he can put his injury woes behind him, he could still have a very bright career.
But finding a club who is willing to take a risk on him could be difficult after his record with injuries over the past few years, and it could mean that he has to drop down the pyramid in order to find a club.
As for Wrexham, they now face a League Two clash vs Salford City tomorrow afternoon; they currently sit in 19th place of the League Two table after a tough season to date, so the Dragons will be looking to take full advantage and put another three points on the board.
A win tomorrow could move Wrexham to within two points of leaders Stockport County who are hosting Harrogate.
