Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds has taken to social media to celebrate Wrexham’s women being in action at the STōK Cae Ras on Sunday.
All of the attention has been on Wrexham’s men and the push for promotion from League Two.
Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Tranmere Rovers was a huge blow to those hopes and Phil Parkinson will be looking to get back on track this weekend.
After two disappointing home displays, Wrexham will be back on the road on Saturday, travelling to take on Grimsby Town.
There will be some football in Wrexham this weekend though as the Wrexham Women will be taking on Swansea City.

The hype around the Wrexham Women has been rising of late.
Just last week, Wrexham announced that the women’s team will be heading on tour to the United States this summer.

This Sunday, Wrexham Women will be in action at the STōK Cae Ras, taking on Swansea City.
Wrexham have been pushing tickets, urging supporters to get down and support the women in a big game.
Reynolds has now taken to social media to admit that he is ‘damn happy’ to see Wrexham Women in action at the STōK Cae Ras again.
Reynolds felt that they put on a real show last time, adding that it was truly one of the most memorable days of his life.
What division to Wrexham Women play in?
Currently a semi-professional side, Wrexham Women play in the Adran Premier – the top flight of Welsh women’s football.
Only seven other teams are in the league; Aberystwyth Town, Barry Town United, Cardiff City, Cardiff Met, Pontypridd United, Swansea City and The New Saints.
Wrexham won promotion from the Adran North last season and currently sit third in the Championship round of the Adran Premier.
A league title won’t be coming this season but the progress of the team is clear and fans will surely be excited to see them in action on Sunday.
Wrexham Women usually play at The Rock in Rhosymedre, the home stadium of Cefn Druids, so another outing at the STōK Cae Ras will be a big moment – as Reynolds understands.
