Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds made his first appearance at the Racecourse Ground this season as the side strolled to a 3-0 victory over Grimsby.

Phil Parkinson’s side delivered another excellent display, and are now unbeaten in seven League Two games following a difficult start to the season.

Two popular figures were seen at the ground for the first time in a while, as Paul Mullin made his first start of the season following his injury, and Reynolds was in attendance to watch the masterclass on display.

Ollie Palmer, Will Boyle and Elliot Lee were all on the scoresheet as Wrexham recorded a richly deserved victory, in which they were solid at the back and in attack, and Reynolds was clearly buzzing about the result.

Taking to social media after the victory, Reynolds posted pictures of himself at the game, with the caption “home sweet home” on what was a triumphant return to the club for the Hollywood star.

Wrexham are now flying

Things have not looked better this season for Wrexham than they do right now. New signing James McClean is finally fit in addition to Mullin, and the club managed to also secure Steven Fletcher after the transfer window closed.

The attacking depth at the club is now very strong, and results have been excellent in recent weeks. Wrexham are now just three points off the top of the table, and have momentum on their side.

Parkinson’s side were expected to challenge for back-to-back promotions before the season started, but after a difficult initial return to League Two, they have found their feet and fitness, and will be hoping to reach the summit of the table before too long.

Reynolds will have been delighted at what he saw yesterday, and his return follows the release of season two of ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ on Disney Plus.
