Wrexham players can now rest up during the international break after beating Northampton Town 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Wrexham had to respond at the STōK Cae Ras after a testing few days on the road.
Wrexham drew 0-0 at Leyton Orient and then lost 1-0 at Stevenage, drawing two straight blanks away from home.
Phil Parkinson and co had to recover from some attacking concerns and did so in style against Northampton Town.
James McClean’s opener was cancelled out by Cameron McGeehan but Wrexham took charge from there.
Jack Marriott and Elliot Lee made it 3-1 before McClean added his second and Wrexham’s fourth to seal the 4-1 win.

Steve Parkin hails ‘terrific’ Wrexham star
There is no doubting who Wrexham’s man of the match was against Northampton.
McClean grabbed a brace with a fine performance but it was Wrexham’s other wing back who stole the show.
Ryan Barnett was irresistible down the right flank, turning in a display all wing backs dream about.
Barnett racked up three assists in a superb display with all four goals coming from his crosses.
The only one which didn’t go down as a Barnett assist was Marriott’s goal, which saw Barnett cross for McClean to tee up the striker.
Barnett was unplayable and Wrexham assistant boss Steve Parkin has offered praise for the 25-year-old.
Speaking to Wrexham’s official YouTube channel, Parkin praised Barnett’s performance as simply ‘terrific’.
Parkin suggested that Wrexham did a great job of switching possession out to the right flank at pace, making it difficult for Northampton to defend.
Parkin added that Barnett has real pace and crossing ability, putting it all together to show how dangerous he can be at this level.
“Terrific,” said Parkin.
“I think we managed to open the game up really well by switching the ball from the left to the right very quickly on several occasions, certainly in the first half especially, which then gives him an opportunity to run at his full-back one v one and we know how dangerous he can be.
”He’s quick and he’s direct and his crossing was bang at it today, so we’re really pleased for him,” he added.
Praise pouring in for Ryan Barnett
Parkin is not alone in his praise of Barnett.
The Wrexham wing back has been earning huge praise ever since his performance against Northampton on Saturday.
George Dobson and Humphrey Ker hailed Barnett with Dobson even calling him the ‘best player in the world’.
James McClean has also branded Barnett ‘absolutely brilliant’ having ripped Northampton apart.
Barnett can now recharge over the international break with Wrexham fans no doubt hoping that he can keep coming up with assists.
Barnett may become a marked man after his last performance but Wrexham will certainly back him to keep terrorising defenders going forward.
