It was a night to forget to Wrexham fans, although it was certainly expected. Chelsea brought a squad of absolute superstars to face the Red Dragons.
They had the likes of Raheem Sterling, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chilwell all on the pitch at times, so the Welsh League 2 side can hold their heads up high with their valiant efforts.

The thirty-second clip is packed full of stars. It has Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney themselves, Will Ferrell… and even King Charles!
Who would have ever thought that quartet would be associated with Wrexham? This has left fans seriously hyped for the new series… but when does it come out?
When will Welcome to Wrexham Season 2 be released?
There is no official confirmed release date for Season 2 – but the best guess is August 2023. This is when season one was released, so the second could potentially follow suit.
It can’t be long now till an official release date is revealed. So, hold tight Red Dragons fans. We just know it’ll be well worth the wait.
