Wrexham have booked their spot in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, in part owing to a big performance from a certain Lewis Brunt.
Wrexham beat Reading 2-0 on Tuesday night, as Nathan Broadhead scored his first two goals for the club following his £10million move from Ipswich Town in the summer.
Phil Parkinson’s side are now into the last 16 of the competition having so far beaten Hull City, Preston North End, and now Reading in the cup.
It’s the first time since 1978 that Wrexham are into the final 16 of the League Cup.

Lewis Brunt stands out as Wrexham beat Reading in Carabao Cup
As expected, Parkinson made several changes to the Wrexham XI that played Reading on Tuesday night, with Callum Burton coming in in goal, Dan Scarr and Lewis Brunt in defence, whilst George Thomason made his full debut.
But it was Brunt in the heart of defence who really impressed. When Wrexham signed Callum Doyle it was reported that Brunt would be dropped from the starting XI. But he showed his importance to the side on Tuesday.
He was commanding in defence and barely put a foot wrong as the Dragons kept only their second clean sheet of the season so far.

Brunt, 24, joined Wrexham from Leicester City last summer. He played 22 times in League One last season and has featured in all five Championship games this season, albeit with the last two appearances coming from the bench.
But he shone on Tuesday against Reading as he returned to the XI. “Brunt is a Rolls Royce of a defender,” posted one Wrexham fan online, as another added: “Burton, Brunt and [Ryan] Barnett good so far. I’m sensing a theme.”
Another added: “Brunt and Thomason stood out last night for me,” whilst another Wrexham fan posted of Brunt: “Can’t drop him.”
“Brunt was top class tonight fair play,” said this fan. Meanwhile, this Wrexham supporter posted: “Brunt showing his class tonight.”
Wrexham are next in action against Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
