Wrexham star Ryan Barnett has been in sensational form this season and it’s no great surprise to see him attracting interest.
Wrexham sit second in League One after 12 games with Phil Parkinson enjoying a strong start to the campaign.
Parkinson has tasted defeat just twice in League One this season and promotion to the Championship is not entirely out of the question.
Wrexham have relied on some superb performances this season and nobody has stood out more than Ryan Barnett.
The wing back has been simply sensational this season and has made the step up to League One look incredibly easy.

Rob McElhenney on Ryan Barnett rumour
Barnett absolutely terrorised Northampton Town earlier in October, racking up three assists in a 4-1 win.
Even the other goal came from a Barnett cross which was pulled back for Jack Marriott to score.
Barnett then followed that up by adding yet another assist against Rotherham United, crossing for Paul Mullin to score the only goal of the game.
Unsurprisingly, Barnett is now attracting interest from a couple of Championship clubs.
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Preston North End and Stoke City are both watching Barnett ahead of potential bids to sign him.
Wrexham fans would hate to see Barnett leave any time soon and Rob McElhenney has now offered his reaction to the speculation.
McElhenney has taken to social media to offer just six words in response to the rumours – ‘I hope they have good binoculars’.
McElhenney seemingly feels that anybody watching Barnett needs to be doing it from a distance as Wrexham aren’t welcoming any interest.
Wrexham fans loved that message and will hope that McElhenney and Reynolds stand firm on Barnett’s future.
Wrexham can convince Barnett to stay
Once upon a time, Championship clubs targeting Wrexham players would have probably been a big surprise – and the beginning of the end.
Wrexham just couldn’t keep hold of key players with the likes of Curtis Obeng, Craig Morgan and Carlos Edwards all sold on.
Things have changed now though; seeing clubs such as PNE and Stoke show an interest in Wrexham players is no longer something to worry about.
Wrexham have arguably the most exciting project in football and are simply going from strength to strength.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds can offer upward mobility, strong wages, enormous exposure and a brilliant environment around the team.
Former Shrewsbury Town man Barnett may well be a wanted man but Wrexham have so much to offer – and Barnett may well feel that joining PNE or Stoke simply isn’t all that much of a step up the days.
