Wrexham appear in the market for a new striker this summer and a Welsh international could be heading to the STōK Cae Ras.
We are now into July and the start of the new season is coming into focus.
Wrexham are preparing for life in League One and Phil Parkinson has only secured one signing so far.
Admittedly, that one signing is a big one; goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has returned to Wrexham on a permanent basis after a superb loan spell from Arsenal.
Okonkwo walked away from the Emirates Stadium this summer and has penned a three-year deal with Wrexham.
Kicking off the transfer window with Okonkwo is a perfect start for Wrexham and Parkinson will now hope for progress on more signings.

Wrexham want to sign Tom Bradshaw
A number of names have been linked with Wrexham of late and a new one can be added to the list.
London News Online report that Wrexham are now interested in snapping up Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw.
It’s noted that Bradshaw has now entered the final year of his Millwall contract and could be on the move this summer.
Bradshaw, 31, hails from Shrewsbury but started his career with Aberystwyth Town before joining up with Shrewsbury Town as a teenager.
Bradshaw showed some promise with Shrewsbury but really found his feet with Walsall after a 2014 move, hitting 40 goals in 86 games.
Barnsley pounced to sign Bradshaw in 2016 and 18 goals in 85 league games there established him as a solid Championship goalscorer.
Millwall took Bradshaw on loan in 2018 but the deal was turned permanent with the experienced striker now on almost 200 appearances for the club.
Bradshaw only scored four times last season but hit 17 goals in the 2022-23 campaign, so he does still have the ability to find the back of the net.
A Wales international with eight caps to his name, Bradshaw has been hailed as ‘brilliant’ by ex-Millwall boss Gary Rowett.
Phil Parkinson has previously wanted Tom Bradshaw
Wrexham do already have a handful of strikers with Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott at Parkinson’s disposal.
Sam Dalby and Jake Bickerstaff are in the mix too, but they could move on this summer and Fletcher may have a reduced role as he nears the end of his career.
Parkinson may feel that Wrexham need another goalscorer and Bradshaw is a player he has previously wanted to sign.
Reports back in 2018 suggested that Bolton Wanderers wanted to sign Bradshaw.
Parkinson was in charge at the time, but Bolton missed out as Bradshaw ended up joining Millwall instead.
Parkinson may have continued to keep tabs on Bradshaw over the years and Wrexham could offer him a move closer to home this summer.
