Wrexham drew 1-1 with Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday night and were cheered on by a Premier League ace in Fulham’s Harry Wilson.

This was always going to be a testing night with MK Dons ultimately looking towards a promotion push of their own.

Wrexham were dreaming of another three points as James McClean stopped to head home Luke Young’s corner.

The lead only lasted four minutes though as Dan Kemp – the man we picked out as the MK Dons danger man – equalised.

Both sides had players send off in the second half as Dean Lewington saw red before Will Boyle followed suit, with neither side able to find a winner.

A point away from home against a promotion rival is a decent result and Phil Parkinson won’t be too disappointed with the result.

Wrexham fans travelled in numbers and were in great voice once again, and were even joined by a rather famous face.

Fulham star Harry Wilson made his way to Stadium MK and was pictured with the Wrexham supporters.

Wilson hails from Wrexham and was schooled in nearby Llangollen before joining the Liverpool academy.

Wilson was sold to Fulham for £12million in 2021 and continues to feature regularly in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old still holds Wrexham close to his heart and with Parkinson’s men in action, Wilson made the trip outside of London to go and cheer on his hometown club.

It would be great to see Wilson featuring for Wrexham at some point in his career, but that may be a few years away from being a possibility.

Still, having Wilson’s support in this push for promotion will still mean a lot to fans everywhere and eagle-eyed supporters will now be looking out for him at future away games in the south.
