Wrexham earned a 2-0 win over Newport County in League Two today, with one man seemingly everywhere.
Wrexham made light work of Welsh rivals Newport County today.
In front of a bumper crowd at the Racecourse Ground, Phil Parkinson watched on as his side earned a routine 2-0 win.
Goals came in the second half from James Jones and Elliot Lee, with the three points leaving the Dragons in 3rd and level on points with Barrow in 2nd.

Elliot Lee’s stats vs Newport County
Lee was everywhere today.
Starting on the left of a midfield three, the 29-year-old put himself about and make a nuisance of himself throughout the 90 minutes.
And on top of his goal, which was his 13th in League Two already this season, Lee made 35 accurate passes with one of those being a key pass, as per Sofascore, boasting 74 touches, winning six out of 10 duels, and completing four out of six dribbles (the most of anyone on the pitch).
Lee has now played in all 22 of Wrexham’s league fixtures this season.
His 13 goals and two assists makes him one of the most prolific names in the division and Parkinson will surely be rubbing his hands at the thought of how many goals Lee could score this season.
The former Luton Town, Oxford United, and Charlton Athletic man scored 12 league goals last season.
A Championship player in League Two
Lee is one of several players in this Wexham side with bags of experience in higher leagues, and who could no doubt be playing at a higher level right now.
So Parkinson and Wrexham will be glad to have him in the team and to see him scoring goals on a regular basis.
He provides great coverage in the middle of the pitch too; not only is Lee a prolific midfielder, but he also moves the ball along nicely and creates openings and space for his teammates.
Keeping Lee fit is a must for Parkinson this season.
He’ll have to be careful with his fitness and hope that Lee doesn’t pick up an injury, as it could really put a dent in Wrexham’s promotion credentials.
But so far, so good for Wrexham and Lee.
