One Wrexham player who hasn’t featured too much this season was in top form against Reading.
Wrexham are now into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, where they could face off with some huge Premier League teams.
It was, after a 3-2 win over Norwich City in the Championship, another solid showing from Phil Parkinson’s men on Tuesday.
They took some time to click in the final third, but in the end, Wrexham beat Reading 2-0 to book their spot in the next round of the Carabao Cup.
Nathan Broadhead scored twice versus Reading, opening his account after a summer move from Ipswich Town.
But another player was in top form versus the Royals, which could lead to a selection dilemma for Parkinson.

Lewis Brunt stats for Wrexham vs Reading are impressive
Parkinson opted to make 10 changes from the team that bested Norwich this past weekend.
Among those was Lewis Brunt coming into the eleven in place of Max Cleworth.
Brunt has primarily been used as a left-sided centre-back over the past year, but he has also featured on the opposite side.
The former Leicester City man lost his place in the starting line-up when Callum Doyle was signed over the summer.
However, he may well have done enough to win that spot back after a very solid showing in midweek.
Wrexham kept just their second clean sheet of the season against Reading, and Brunt’s efforts played a big role in that.

Wrexham fans react to Lewis Brunt display
Brunt’s performance has earned him plaudits on social media, with it suggested he could come into the side for Doyle.
One fan wrote: “Man of the match for me, definitely Lewis Brunt. A superb performance for 90 minutes and he stays in the team for Saturday for me.
“Head and shoulders above the rest. He stays in for Doyle (as I said should have been the case last Saturday and was ridiculed for suggesting),” responded another.
A third stated: “He was fantastic, I honestly think he would be unbelievable as a DM he has everything to succeed at that position.”
Doyle was an expensive signing, costing an initial £5m, but after they kept a rare clean sheet against Reading (granted, they are a League One team), Parkinson could be willing to change things up against Derby County on Saturday.
