Wrexham have picked up a point away from home on Sunday afternoon as Phil Parkinson and co drew 0-0 at Bolton Wanderers.
The first week of the new season was rather mixed for Wrexham.
Last Saturday was pure euphoria as Wrexham beat Wycombe Wanderers 3-2 at the STōK Cae Ras.
Midweek was a little trickier though as Wrexham were beaten comfortably by Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup.
Phil Parkinson made so many changes for that game though and Wrexham turned in a battling performance against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday.
Neither side could find the net in a 0-0 draw but Arthur Okonkwo was in fine form on his way to being named Player of the Match.

Gareth Ainsworth on Wrexham problem
Wrexham had to withstand major pressure from the hosts with Bolton managing eight shots on target over the course of the game.
Okonkwo just wouldn’t be beaten though and Wrexham may be a little disappointed not to have made more of an impact going forward.
Wrexham only managed two shots on target and didn’t quite hurt Bolton as much as Parkinson would have wanted.
Former Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth was on punditry duty on Sky Sports and offered some criticism of the Wrexham display.
Ainsworth told Sky Sports (18/08, 4:55pm) that he thinks Parkinson will be happier than Bolton boss Ian Evatt.
Ainsworth highlighted a disappointment though, suggesting that Wrexham’s set pieces just weren’t good enough.
Whilst cancelling each other out was understandable, Ainsworth wanted to see Wrexham create more problems from dead ball situations.
Ainsworth noted that Wrexham lacked ‘zip’ on set pieces and expects better from a League One side moving forward.
“Phil Parkinson will undoubtedly be the happier manager, what I was just a bit disappointed with was, okay, open-play football, they cancelled each other out, but the set pieces today… I thought the deliveries in, it was either hitting the first man or it was too floaty, there was no real zip on that ball and, for this level, you expect better from your set plays but Phil will go home the happier man,” he added.
Attacking additions still needed
Wrexham tend to cause problems from set pieces but Parkinson will be looking to improve from open play too.
Summer recruitment has been impressive but Wrexham do still need more new faces – and a new forward has to be a focus.
A handful of rumoured targets appear to be slipping through the net right now though.
Tottenham Hotspur plan to keep Will Lankshear whilst Kieran Bowie has already joined Hibernian.
John McAtee was a target but joined Bolton Wanderers, even lining up against Wrexham on Sunday.
Wrexham will hope to add a forward before the end of the window but with Paul Mullin on the road to recovery, Wrexham will be boosted in the final third one way or another.
