Wrexham are back in action on Sunday afternoon as Phil Parkinson take his side to face Mansfield Town in a must-win game.
Wrexham have a real chance to hit back just days after the low of losing at home to Leyton Orient.
Phil Parkinson’s side were second best against Orient and deservedly slumped to a 2-1 defeat.
That defeat – after four wins in a row across all competitions – was a real setback, especially as Wycombe Wanderers won in midweek.
Wycombe only drew on Saturday though, meaning Wrexham have a chance to cut the gap to second place to just three points once more.
Add in that Mansfield Town are in a dire run of form and this is a game Wrexham really need to win in order to get back on track.
Parkinson has named his starting XI and substitutes to face the Stags with some big decisions made in the process.
Wrexham starting XI: Okonkwo; Cleworth, O’Connell, O’Connor; Longman, Cannon, Dobson, Rathbone, Revan; Smith, Rodriguez.
Wrexham substitutes: Howard, Barnett, Scarr, James, Mullin, Fletcher, Marriott
Here are three major calls Parkinson has made ahead of kick off against Nigel Clough’s side…

Arthur Okonkwo recall
Arthur Okonkwo is one of the top goalkeepers in League One but a broken wrist in November halted his progress.
The former Arsenal talent returned earlier this year but suffered an uncharacteristically testing run of form.
Parkinson benched Okonkwo as a result, admitting that the goalkeeper needed more time out of the team.
Mark Howard has been playing instead but Okonkwo is back in goal against Mansfield with Parkinson seemingly happy with his progress.
Howard hasn’t let Wrexham down and wasn’t particularly at fault for either Orient goal in midweek, but Okonkwo can now take his chance and hopefully get back to his best.
Sebastian Revan given a chance
James McClean’s absence was always going to lead to changes at wing back, but many expected Ryan Longman to come in for the Irishman.
Instead, Sebastian Revan is in at left wing back as he looks to kickstart his season.
The summer signing from Aston Villa looked so exciting early in the campaign but has struggled for consistent minutes in League One.
This game represents a big chance for Revan but there is a change on the right too with Ryan Barnett benched in favour of Longman.
Barnett has been exceptional this season but Parkinson may well feel that the time is right for fresh legs, giving Barnett a rest and handing Longman a chance to impress.
Paul Mullin back in the squad
One of the big talking points around Wrexham of late has been the omission of Paul Mullin.
Wrexham’s goal hero hasn’t quite been at his best this season and saw Wrexham sign two new strikers in Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez.
After not even being on the bench against Northampton Town, Parkinson admitted that Mullin was simply dropped rather than injured.
Mullin missed out against Orient too as Parkinson preferred other options ahead of him.
Parkinson has now decided to bring Mullin back in though, handing him a place on the bench alongside Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott.
Those are some great options for Parkinson to call upon if needed and Mullin will be desperate for an opportunity after being left out lately.
