Wrexham fans had a lot to say about Paul Mullin before their club’s clash with Exeter City on Saturday.
Wrexham were playing Exeter City at a tough time, given their opponent’s recent form in the third tier.
Exeter went into the clash having managed to avoid defeat in their previous six league fixtures.
It meant they were even outperforming Phil Parkinson’s side when comparing the two clubs’ recent games.
However, Wrexham still likely fancied their chances of securing three points, given they were able to recently beat two of the top-six.
A win for the Red Dragons would have kept them second in League One for another few days at least, with Wycombe Wanderers three points adrift and having a game in hand still to play.

Wrexham fans send same Paul Mullin message vs Exeter City
The team news was released at 2pm on Saturday, with Parkinson opting for the same eleven that started the win over Stockport.
Yet again, there was no place in the line-up or on the bench for Paul Mullin, with Jack Marriott selected instead.
It’s now been 10 games since the striker appeared in a matchday squad and fans, yet again, have sent the same message after his absence.
Mullin’s continued snubbing is becoming somewhat of a joke, with some fans even beginning to see the funny side of it.
One fan wrote: “Obligatory ‘where’s Mullin and Palmer?’ post.”
A second added: “Think you missed Mullin again? Post the real team.”
“Persists with Marriott on bench, which makes no sense while Mullin and Palmer sit out. As for Rodriguez, again jury is out on that one, as he still has not shown enough and could be our undoing in making the top 2. Still not a decent striking partner next to Smith,” a third wrote.
A fourth simply questioned: “Where is Mullin?” While a fifth echoed: Where’s @PMullin7 ??? Injured ???
And another Wrexham fan claimed: “If Mullin and Palmer both scored for the reserves, I think that they should be at least getting on the bench or one of them for Rodriguez.”

Why doesn’t Paul Mullin play for Wrexham anymore
It was not surprising to see the 30-year-old once again left out by Parkinson.
After scoring three league goals in the first half of the season, Wrexham opted to sign two new strikers in January.
Mullin subsequently then fell down the striker pecking order, with Parkinson no longer viewing him as a key option.
He did score in a reserve win over Mansfield Town on Tuesday, suggesting the Wrexham manager hasn’t completely frozen him out.
But at this rate, it does look as though Mullin’s season, at least in the first team, may be over.
