Wrexham travelled to Lincoln in their final game of the season.
Phil Parkinson made one change to the side that beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 as Jay Rodriguez missed the game with a knock and was replaced by Elliot Lee.
Lincoln had the better of a quiet first half as Arthur Okonkwo had to be sharp on several occasions to keep the hosts at bay.
Wrexham came to life just after half time as Ryan Longman’s superb cross was met by Lee who powered a header past George Wickens.
Longman himself then drove the ball into the far corner with a clinical finish on the hour mark to secure a win on the final day and move the Red Dragons over the 90 point barrier for the first time in the EFL.

Wrexham player ratings vs Lincoln
Wrexham dug in during the first half but showed their class after the break, here’s how the Wrexham players rated in their final League One clash against Lincoln.
Arthur Okonkwo – 8
Okonkwo probably doesn’t want the season to end given the form he has shown in recent months. Magnificent performance to keep the hosts at bay.
Max Cleworth – 7
Mr consistent produces yet again, what more can you say about this young defender apart from he is set to take the Championship by storm next season.
Dan Scarr – 7
Another solid display at the heart of the defence, Scarr has had to be patient this season but has stepped up when needed in these last three and a half games.
Lewis Brunt – 7
Another young defender that keeps getting better and better and will be a huge part of Wrexham’s plans for the second tier.
Ryan Longman – 9
Quiet first half from Longman but then he exploded into life by producing an outstanding cross for Lee’s goal before firing home himself. Showed why he has been such a gem of a signing.
James McClean – 7
Wrexham’s most dangerous player in the first half having whipped a superb cross for Smith volley wide, fantastic end to the season.
Matty James – 8
James has given Parkinson something to think about next season, his experience and leadership cannot be ignored as he produced yet another commanding display.
George Dobson – 5
A sluggish performance from Dobson that was out of character from his tremendous form towards the end of the campaign.
Ollie Rathbone – 6
Energetic as always but struggled to make any real impact on the game, deserves a summer of rest after his incredible exploits this season.
Elliot Lee – 8
Failed to really make an impression on a rare start in a more advanced position until he did what he does best – ghosted into the penalty area to plant an exquisite header past the keeper.
Sam Smith – 6
Had a real physical battle with Lincoln defender Paudie O’Connor that threatened to boil over at times but Smith stood up to the task well.
Substitutes-
Steven Fletcher – 5
Replaced Lee with twenty minutes remaining and saw a decent effort on goal saved by Wickens.
Ryan Barnett – 5
Came on for Longman with twenty minutes left and worked hard on the right flank.
Thomas O’Connor – 5
Replaced Rathbone in midfield with fifteen minutes remaining and slotted in well in an unfamiliar role. Should have made it three but fired over from a promising position.
Jack Marriott – N/A
Came on for Smith with six minutes remaining but did not have time to impact the game.
