Wrexham man, Anthony Forde has opened up about his return to the starting XI following a spell on the sidelines.
It has been a great start to the season for Wrexham with the Reds currently sitting in the automatic promotion places.
Despite having plenty of injuries disrupt the starting XI, Phil Parkinson has managed his squad to great effect to see his side lose just two games.
In the documentary, ‘Welcome to Wrexham‘, Anthony Forde was featured heavily as he told his story that impacted his life last campaign.

With personal issues keeping him out last year, this season he has been hampered by injury. As a result, he has made just three League Two starts.
Against Gillingham, he played just his second full 90 of the season as the Reds won 2-0 at The Racecourse.
What has Anthony Forde said?
After last year, Forde would have wanted to get his head down and focus on his football following promotion.
With that being said, various injuries have kept the Irishman out of the squad for the beginning of the season. He has been discussing this with Leader Live this week.
On his start to the season, Forde said: “It was frustrating to get a few little injuries early in the season but they have gone now and I am back into it.
“I am delighted to be back in the team and I am looking forward to getting a run going again.”
As aforementioned, the star had suffered from personal issues last campaign and missed out on many months, coming back toward the end of the campaign.
Opening up about that, he added: “I was happy with how it went last season. Obviously, things happened off the pitch and I had to take some time off which broke up my season.
“I got back into it at the end of the season, I was able to play against Yeovil and got the goal but the main thing was to get promoted.”
Despite not being the season he wanted, it is clear that he still shared the goal of promotion with his teammates. Coming back in at the business end of the campaign he played his part.
On that point, he said: “I am glad I contributed and was part of it, hopefully, we can do the same this season.”
With the club sitting in second place in League Two right now, promotion is a realistic ambition for Forde and Co. this campaign.
