There is one player who’s had an electric start to life in the English Football League for Wrexham this season.

Phil Parkinson‘s side have finally found their rhythm in League Two. Despite a shaky start, the Red Dragons now find themselves in 6th place, after a string of excellent results.

The players are finally performing. More importantly, Wrexham have some new recruits in the previous couple of games. Steven Fletcher and Arthur Okwonko joined late – but the news that feels like a new player is the return of Paul Mullin.

However, there’s been an ever-present superstar in the first seven games – who goes by the name of Elliot Lee.

Elliot Lee has been electric this season

Whilst the big dog Mullin was out, one man has been stepping up in his absence. Eliot Lee.

He’s been astounding, which shows in some of his statistics this season. Here are some of the standouts:

Stats collected from SofaScore.

Some fantastic numbers there, but we believe it’s only going to get better.

He’s proven he can make the step back up

Lee is no stranger to the EFL. He’s played for a plethora of English clubs including Barnsley, Charlton Athletic, Luton Town and many more on loan.

Players like this who know how to adapt to the step up are vital – and Lee is proving just that this season.

We anticipate Lee to maintain this form, and ultimately, be one of the driving forces that see Wrexham succeed this season.

Granted, the revival of Mullin will mean goals – but Lee will only get better with better players coming in around him, combined with the new lease of depth at the club that will allow him adequate recovery time,

We’re really looking forward to watching Lee, and the club, for the rest of the campaign.
