Wrexham now face the toughest challenge of the season as Birmingham City await in Monday night’s huge clash.
The anticipation for this game has been enormous with both teams showing ambition in the transfer market in an attempt to win promotion.

Arthur Okonkwo shares Wrexham superstition
Wrexham will head to Birmingham in search of yet another clean sheet.
Four clean sheets in a row is a simply incredible record for Wrexham as teams struggle to break down Phil Parkinson’s side.
The star man in the back line is goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo following his summer move from Arsenal.
Okonkwo was exceptional on loan at Wrexham last season and his permanent move was an enormous coup.
The shot-stopper has now spoken to GQ Sports and admitted that he has one superstition before every game.
Okonkwo noted that he wears Adidas gloves but actually swaps them out for a new pair before every single Wrexham clash.
Okonkwo accepts that some people think this superstition is ‘crazy’ but it has just worked for him so far.
“My absolute essential – my goalie gloves,” said Okonkwo.
“When it comes to gloves, most important is aesthetic; how it looks, I want to feel good when I’m playing. Adidas, we’ve been together for years now and then comfortability, which is also important, and that’s two things Adidas have been able to do.
“I just have a superstition now, where I need to use a new pair of gloves every game. When I normally tell people that, they say it’s a bit crazy, but I like to give them away to fans, who absolutely love it, but it leaves me a bit dry of gloves,” he added.
Okonkwo may have a huge decision to make
Okonkwo is already one of the top goalkeepers in League One and it’s no surprise to see him attracting admiring glances.
Transfer interest may well arrive but the most pressing situation for Okonkwo is actually his international future.
Reports last week suggested that Okonkwo has held talks with Nigeria over a potential international switch.
Okonkwo has previously represented England at youth level but qualifies for Nigeria through his parents.
Okonkwo admitted his ambition to play international football back in May and Nigeria can now offer that prospect.
The Wrexham stopper must soon decide whether to stick with England and bide his time or switch to Nigeria and become an international very soon.
Wrexham will just hope that his focus doesn’t move elsewhere in the coming weeks and months after a sensational start to the season.
