Wrexham are on an exciting journey with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds at the helm and European football may even be a possibility.
Wrexham had been stuck in non-league for more than a decade before Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds arrived.
The Hollywood duo have allowed Wrexham fans to dream again and back-to-back promotions now see Phil Parkinson’s side competing in League One.
Wrexham aren’t looking to simply settle in League One though and Reynolds wants another promotion this season.
Maybe Wrexham will be a Championship club this time next year; the early signs in League One are certainly positive.
Wrexham may have even bigger plans in mind though as the club consider a potential route into Europe.

BBC pundit on Wrexham talks
Recent reports have suggested that Wrexham are in talks to join the Welsh League Cup.
Cardiff City, Newport County and Swansea City are also discussing a similar move in a huge step for Welsh football.
This would see all four clubs sacrifice their potential route into Europe through English competition in order to play in the Welsh League Cup.
The winners of the Welsh League Cup would potentially end up in the UEFA Conference League, possibly accelerating Wrexham’s route into European action.
The clubs involved have much bigger budgets than those from the Cymru Premier though and that is causing some concern.
Pundit Marc Lloyd Williams – the record goalscorer in the Cymru Premier – has offered his thoughts to BBC Sport.
Williams has told Wrexham and the other clubs involved to ‘stay in England’ having already made the decision to not play domestic football in Wales.
Williams pointed to potential cash windfalls from facing Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City in cup games in England, something Cymru Premier sides don’t have in their future.
The former striker added that he would be firmly against the four clubs entering the Welsh League Cup, preferring to keep that for teams in the Welsh league system.
“I am not sure what the [Cymru Premier] clubs think about it,” said Lloyd Williams.
“For me, the four clubs made the decision to play in England, so stay in England. Don’t try and take those European spots off the Cymru Premier teams. It is their bread and butter, week in, week out.
“Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexham and Newport are in the Football League and the FA Cup and EFL Cup. They have got a chance to play Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal with a home tie and get big crowds in.
“Just because TNS (The New Saints) have qualified for Europe, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Cardiff or Swansea or Wrexham or Newport would. For me, you can’t be having your cake and eating it. They have made their decision and I would be against them coming in,” he added.
Wrexham talks dividing opinion
Williams’ thoughts sum up how divisive this idea has become.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has shared his concerns about the talks, sharing similar worries to Williams in terms of protecting Cymru Premier clubs.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson thinks the move would be ‘amazing’ though and Lee Trundle thinks it would only be a positive for the Welsh game.
The Athletic claim that some believe the green light may be given before the end of 2024.
That would see Wrexham join the Welsh League Cup for the 2025-26 season with a place in Europe up for grabs.
Seeing European action at the STōK Cae Ras would be a dream for many supporters but there may yet be some pushback from Cymru Premier clubs given their route to Europe would be dented.
