Craig Bellamy has opted to call upon two Wrexham stars to represent Wales in their fixtures against England and Belgium in the next international break.
This decision from the international manager demonstrates the journey that the Red Dragons have been on, as they now boast players that regularly represent their country.
The Welsh club have been on an incredible journey since Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have taken ownership of the club, and the appointment of Phil Parkinson as manager has seen them climb from the National League to the Championship.
This has enabled them to be able to attract international quality to the club, as Wrexham spent £33 million on 13 players in the summer transfer window, with several of them being stars on the world stage.

Now, Craig Bellamy has called upon two Wrexham stars to help in Wales’ hopes of reaching the World Cup in the summer of 2026.
Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead selected for Wales
Craig Bellamy has selected Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead to be part of a 26-man squad for the next international break.
The first game that the pair could feature in is against England at Wembley Stadium, as the two rivals square off to prepare Wales for their World Cup qualifier against Belgium later in the week.
Broadhead returns to the squad after not being part of it last month, as he missed out through injury after initially being named, while Moore continues to keep his place in the international team after he scored in their win over Kazakhstan.
Danny Ward was named in the last Wales squad but was not selected for this upcoming international camp; he has not been chosen as he is currently injured.
Craig Bellamy believes Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead will thrive at Wrexham
Ahead of the last international break, Craig Bellamy was asked what he thought about the three players he had selected for Wales duty in their short time at Wrexham.
As reported by Wales Online, he said: “There isn’t similarities to how I play to how Wrexham play. It’s different ways; there’s no right or wrong way for this.
“But the way Wrexham play will definitely suit Kieffer. I feel that when I’ve watched him play for Wrexham.
“It will be nice for Broady (Broadhead) to get a consistent run of playing week in, week out.
“With the fee Wrexham paid, it looks like he will get that, and that leaves me really excited because I believe there’s a really good footballer there.
“He has the benchmarks, the intensity, to really flourish there.
“Wardy had a tricky spell last year (at Leicester) and came through it mentally as well.
“I’m delighted to see him playing for Wrexham, as it’s his club.”
