Wrexham have completed another signing in recent days with defender Dan Scarr completing a move to the STōK Cae Ras.
Phil Parkinson understandably wanted to strengthen his defensive options at Wrexham ahead of the new season.
Aaron Hayden, Jordan Tunnicliffe and Ben Tozer have all been let go this summer after back-to-back
Wrexham have now landed three defenders this summer with two versatile options strengthening Parkinson’s squad.
Lewis Brunt as the first to arrive as Wrexham managed to hijack both Mansfield Town and Peterborough United for the Leicester City talent.
Brunt can play all across the back four and wing back Sebastian Revan can fill in at left centre back if needed.

Dan Scarr on Wrexham’s Paul Mullin
Wrexham’s latest signing perhaps doesn’t possess that same versatility, but it’s another proven leader for Parkinson’s squad.
Friday saw the now-famous HP printer produce another Wrexham contract as Dan Scarr signed on the dotted line.
Wrexham have managed to lure Scarr away from Plymouth Argyle, handing him a three-year deal.
Argyle boss Wayne Rooney has offered his reaction, suggesting that the time had come for Scarr to leave Home Park.
The 29-year-old has bags of experience and is no stranger to League One from his days with Walsall and Argyle.
Scarr won’t be stunned by anything he sees in League One this season and he will already know some Wrexham players from having featured against them in years gone by.
Paul Mullin is a prime example and Scarr has already commented on the Wrexham goal hero.
Speaking on Wrexham’s official YouTube channel, Scarr noted that he has played against Mullin in the past and is much happier having him as a teammate than as an opponent.
“I’d rather him be on the same team as me scoring than against me, yeah!” said Scarr. “Just penalties – I don’t count that!” he added when asked if Mullin had scored against him.
Scarr record v Mullin
Scarr and Mullin first met way back in 2017 as Swindon Town beat Wycombe Wanderers 1-0.
Mullin came off the bench for Swindon that day whilst Scarr started for Wycombe whilst on loan from Birmingham City.
Mullin didn’t score that day but had better luck in their second meeting as Cambridge United secured a 2-0 win over Walsall in 2020.
Wrexham hitman Mullin scored from the spot that day as Scarr and his Walsall teammates tasted defeat.
Scarr may have forgotten that Mullin scored an absolute screamer against Scarr and Walsall in 2021 though.
Picking up the ball in injury time, Mullin smashed a howitzer into the top corner of the net to secure a 1-0 Cambridge victory.
Scarr may only remember Mullin’s penalty but the Wrexham star scored a stunner against him just over three years ago.
Perhaps that goal didn’t last long in Scarr’s memory, but he will now be hoping for similar wonder goals from Mullin as Wrexham teammates.
