Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is chasing a League One award this season, but one former Wrexham stopper is shining, too.
A quality goalkeeper is the backbone for any great side, and Wrexham are certainly blessed between the sticks.
Arthur Okonkwo joined Wrexham permanently from Arsenal last summer, having enjoyed a superb loan spell last season.
Okonkwo has been hailed by Phil Parkinson, with the Wrexham stopper now tied for the most clean sheets in League One this season.
Backup stopper Callum Burton showed his quality earlier this season, whilst third-choice stopper Mark Howard even showed he can be called upon when required.
As Okonkwo chases the award for most League One clean sheets, one of his predecessors is excelling in non-league football.

Christian Dibble making history after Wrexham exit
Anybody who watched ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ would have surely felt for goalkeeper Christian Dibble.
An injury to now-Altrincham stopper Rob Lainton meant Dibble came into the side, and some shaky goalkeeping resulted in him being mocked by supporters.
Dibble, the son of former Wrexham goalkeeper Andy Dibble, followed in his father’s footsteps by joining Wrexham from Chorley in 2017.
The 30-year-old predominantly served as a backup goalkeeper but still made 72 appearances in all competitions for Wrexham.
Dibble left Wrexham in January 2023, signing a deal with Kidderminster Harriers in National League North.
Now first-choice goalkeeper under Phil Brown in National League North, Dibble has kept a remarkable 23 clean sheets in 43 games this season.
Kidderminster Harriers have noted that Dibble now holds the record for the most league clean sheets in a single season for the club.
The previous total was 21, set way back in 1969, with Dibble now on 23 – with a few games of the season still to go.
Christian Dibble could win promotion
There are just three players to play in National League North, and Dibble is right in the mix for promotion with Kidderminster.
Currently second on 83 points, Kidderminster are just one point behind league leaders Scunthorpe United.
Brackley Town are also on 83 points, meaning all three sides are in a real shootout for top spot and automatic promotion to the National League.
Wrexham’s bitter rivals Chester sit fourth but are six points away from Scunthorpe and would need a miracle to claim top spot.
That means we could end up seeing Dibble in play-off action against Chester – and you can be sure that Wrexham fans would be cheering him on in that scenario.
