Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have raised the profile of Wrexham massively since they took over the club.
Rob McElhenney was the driving force behind the takeover after being inspired by the ‘Sunderland Till I Die’ documentary.
The Always Sunny star then brought Ryan Reynolds on board and the Hollywood pair have now transformed Wrexham on and off the pitch.
On the footballing side, the Red Dragons finally ended a 15-year stint in the National League and are now firmly in the race to win promotion from League One to the Championship.
Away from the pitch, the Disney+ ‘Welcome to Wrexham‘ documentary has garnered the club a huge American following.

Did Paul Rudd visit the Turf pub in Wrexham
A friend of Reynolds from their work together as actors, Paul Rudd became a fan of Wrexham in 2023.
Most known for his role as Ant-Man, Rudd was spotted in Wrexham’s famous Turf pub in April 2023 ahead of watching his friend’s side take on Boreham Wood.
It was a pivotal game in the club’s history, with the winner securing promotion from the National League.
After singing along with fans at the pub, Rudd then attended the Racecourse to watch Wrexham pick up a 3-1 win.

Is Will Ferrell an investor in Wrexham
Will Ferrell and Reynolds formed a close friendship in 2022 when filming the move ‘Spirited’.
The Hollywood actor has since made a trip to the Racecourse, where he was spotted alongside the star of Deadpool and former Manchester United ace, David Beckham.

Lively has attended several games with her husband but went viral for a tweet she made during a match back in 2023.
She wrote on X/Twitter: “I bought ESPN+ today just to watch my husband experience crippling anxiety live. Worth it.”
Does John Cena support Wrexham
The legendary WWE superstar has shown his support to a number of English football clubs over the years, including Manchester City and West Ham United.
While Cena, whose social media posts are often very cryptic, has not officially declared himself a Wrexham supporter, he has previously posted an Instagram picture of Reynolds celebrating at a game.
