Phil Parkinson managed to deliver Wrexham to the fourth round of the EFL Cup with a 2-0 victory over Reading.
It was the first time that the club have reached this stage of the competition since they did so 48 years ago.
In doing so, Wrexham became part of history for Welsh football, as they were one of three clubs from Wales that progressed to the fourth round of the competition; this is the first time ever that this has happened in the EFL Cup.
Phil Parkinson seems to be continuing the fairytale journey of the club after he delivered three consecutive promotions to take the club from the National League to the Championship.
This progression of the club under Parkinson has led a former Wales international to raise a serious question around Parkinson.
Iwan Roberts cannot understand the rumours around Phil Parkinson losing his job as Wrexham manager
Speaking to BBC Radio Cymru, former Wales international Iwan Roberts addressed the rumours surrounding Parkinson potentially being replaced as manager of Wrexham.
He said: “They’ve won four of their last five games, and people say he (Parkinson) is under pressure? That’s bonkers.

“There’s nothing better than winning games; it lifts confidence.
“Wrexham have a massive game at home to Derby on Saturday now, as they are still looking for their first league win at home this season. Things are starting to click for Phil Parkinson and Wrexham.”
Phil Parkinson has staved off the executioner
The Wrexham manager came out with a defiant message following their victory over Norwich City and is confident he is the man to take the club forward.
Parkinson would love to deliver another promotion, this time to the Premier League, to complete the journey with the club.

Wrexham were linked to several managers over the past few weeks, all with Premier League experience or those who have won promotion previously.
However, the Wrexham faithful appear to be happy with Parkinson at the helm for all he has done and because of how he runs the squad to deliver results.
