Wrexham have got a squad that is the envy of most teams in League One.
After signing Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez in the January window, alongside winger Ryan Longman, Phil Parkinson has a wealth of talent at his disposal in attacking areas.
However, consecutive home defeats for the first time under Parkinson has started to beg the question as to whether Wrexham can achieve League One promotion this season.
Fans were furious with Parkinson’s approach against Orient and the omission of one key player from the matchday squad altogether continues to divide opinion at the club.

Waynne Phillips cannot understand ‘crazy’ Paul Mullin snub
Speaking to the BBC, former Wrexham midfielder Waynne Phillips has expressed his surprise at the continued omission of Paul Mullin for the matchday squad.
Phillips stated: “For me there’s something not right – to not have Paul Mullin in and around the squad seems a little bit crazy.
“But Phil Parkinson is the manager. He has done particularly well for Wrexham over the last two or three seasons and you have to accept that he is the man who picks the side.”
The former Red Dragon then went on to explain how he still feels it is all to play for this season in the club’s promotion charge.
Phillips explained: “There have been a couple of wins which have taken them into the semi-final of the EFL Trophy, but automatic promotion is what they are after and they cannot afford to have this bad run at this stage in the season.
“The last thing Wrexham want going into the last 10 games is to be under big pressure. There are 15 games to go, a lot of points to play for, but they need to pull themselves out of the form they are in at the moment.”
Mullin could play in a deeper role behind Smith and Rodriguez
Parkinson likes to play a 3-5-2 system but there Smith and Rodriguez like to drift wide and therefore it leaves a glaring hole in the central striker position.
Having scored an incredible 105 goals for the Red Dragons, Mullin could be the man to take up that advanced midfield position that the team are crying out for.

With the likes of Ollie Rathbone and George Dobson able to do the hard work in the middle of the park, it would allow Mullin to get on the ball and have the freedom to roam and create chances.
There would be no better finisher either to be on the end of any knock downs or second balls from the front two, something for Parkinson to consider in the coming weeks.
