Phil Parkinson has been commenting on Wrexham competing in the Championship this season.
The Red Dragons have had a very mixed start to life back in the second tier for the first time since 1982.
Wrexham beat Norwich City 3-2 on Saturday afternoon thanks to some starring displays from the likes of Issa Kabore and Josh Windass.
Prior to that, they had won one of their opening five matches and were just above the relegation zone.
However, the Welsh outfit have climbed up to 16th and are well clear of the bottom three ahead of their next league clash.

After Norwich, Wrexham’s promotion chances have increased and Phil Parkinson has now been commenting on how his side will fare in the second division this season.
Can Wrexham compete for Championship promotion
Wrexham are facing by far and away their most difficult challenge yet in the 2025/26 season.
Unlike previous campaigns, they are no longer one of the richest clubs in the division.
The likes of Ipswich Town and Southampton are benefiting from parachute payments and still have several Premier League-level players on their books.
However, speaking to the media ahead of Reading, Parkinson said he is confident Wrexham can compete with the top teams in the Championship.
He said when asked about facing ex-Premier League sides like Leicester City: “We can compete. You know, we’ve, we’re confident we can compete with all the teams.”

Most promotions in a row in English football
Wrexham already hold the record for most promotions in a row when starting in the fifth tier of English football or higher.
It’s an impressive feat, but the Dragons could go one better with promotion this season.
While there is obviously a major step down in level, Truro City (2005/2009) and Shaw Lane A.F.C. (2011/2015) have previously won four promotions in a row when competing in non-league.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town were the last side to win back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.
