Wrexham fans have made their feelings on Phil Parkinson clear after their meeting with Norwich City.

It has been an interesting start to the season for the long-time Wrexham manager.

Despite winning three promotions in a row, Phil Parkinson’s future was questioned before a ball had been kicked this season.

After one win in five, suggestions that Parkinson was under pressure at Wrexham returned recently.

However, Shaun Harvey showed support for the manager this week, and the Red Dragons faithful have now done the same.

Wrexham fans gesture to Phil Parkinson after Norwich City

After going 1-0 down late in the first half, Wrexham came from behind to beat Norwich City 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The Canaries scored a late goal thanks to a second error from Arthur Okonkwo, but the Welsh outfit held on for a much-needed three points.

Issa Kabore impressed fans on his debut, which saw the wing-back grab himself two assists.

Josh Windass shone during the 90 minutes on his return to the side as well, scoring twice.

At the full-time whistle, though, much of the attention was put on Parkinson.

Those who made the trip to Carrow Road could be heard chanting “Parky! Parky! Parky!” over and over again.

The Wrexham manager was quick to respond, holding his hands above his head to applaud the travelling supporters.

Will Phil Parkinson get Wrexham promoted again

The win over Norwich has moved Wrexham firmly away from the relegation zone.

Will they get promoted this season? It’s too early to say, given how competitive the league is.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac want to be in the Premier League by the end of 2026/27.

But doubts have been raised about Parkinson getting Wrexham promoted to the top-flight.

Journalists Rich Fay and Nathan Salt both said on the latest episode of their podcast that they didn’t believe he is the man to help achieve that goal.
