Wrexham fans have taken to social media to express their displeasure following an announcement from the club.
The Welsh outfit are now plying their trade in the second tier of English football for the first time in 43 years.
So far, Wrexham have had some difficult tests against Southampton and West Brom, losing both fixtures.
Next up for the Red Dragons is a home meeting with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, August 23.
The Owls have a threadbare squad this season amid financial woes, which has led to a number of players, including Josh Windass, departing.
After taking on Wednesday, Wrexham face Preston North End in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday before travelling to Millwall on August 30, and fans are not happy with an announcement involving their clash with Alex Neil’s side.

Wrexham fans unhappy with Millwall ticket price
Wrexham have now confirmed ticket prices for their away trip to The Den next week.
| Adults | £36 |
| Seniors (65 & Over) | £26 |
| Armed Forces | £26 |
| 18-21 | £26 |
| Under 18s | £20 |
| Under 14s | £12 |
| Under 6s | £7 |
It’s fair to say that the price of an away ticket to visit East London has not gone down too well.
One fan wrote: “Thirty-six pounds for Millwall. Good lord.”
Another Wrexham fan echoed: “Thirty-six great British pounds.”
“Easily affordable happy days,” a third seemingly sarcastically commented.
A fourth supporter made their feelings very clear, writing: “36 for Millwall tickets is that a ——- joke.”
While a fifth fan suggested: “Millwall slapping the Wrexham tax,” and another wrote: “Millwall is an expensive day, fair play.”
Premier League away ticket prices explained
While they are just weeks into their Championship season, Wrexham already have plans to reach the top flight.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac want to be in the Premier League by 2027, and if that happens, fans would benefit from the away ticket price cap.
As per BBC Sport, “Premier League clubs have ‘unanimously’ agreed to keep the £30 cap on away ticket prices for the 2025-26 season.”
The rule has been in place for 10 seasons now, and in that time, away attendance has risen from 82% to 91%.
