Wrexham eased past League One strugglers Reading on Tuesday night, in a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup.
Wrexham beat Reading 2-0 on Tuesday night thanks to Nathan Broadhead’s first two goals for the Dragons, following his record-breaking move from Ipswich Town in the summer.
Phil Parkinson’s side are now in the fourth round of the League Cup for the first time since the 1977/78 season and they look like they could have a great chance of reaching the quarter finals too.
There remain a number of Football League teams in the competition, as well as a number of Premier League giants.

Who could Wrexham face in the Carabao Cup fourth round?
There remain a number of Premier League giants in the Carabao Cup, along with a number of Football League teams like Wrexham looking to cause an upset.
The remaining teams include Grimsby Town, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Brighton, Cardiff City, Fulham, Chelsea, Wycombe Wanderers, Wolves, Wrexham and Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Wrexham then could book themselves a Welsh derby against one of Swansea or Cardiff, or a Premier League game against the likes of Liverpool, or one of the four top flight sides in action on Wednesday night.
When is the Carabao Cup fourth round draw?
There is another wave of Carabao Cup fixtures on Wednesday night, with four Premier League big-hitters all in action.
Huddersfield Town take on Man City, Newcastle United take on Bradford City, Tottenham take on Doncaster and Arsenal take on Modou Faal’s Port Vale away from home.
The Arsenal game kicks off at 8pm and the fourth round draw will take place following the conclusion of that game, and will be shown live on Sky Sports Football.
Wrexham are ball no.11 in the tie, with the fourth round games scheduled to take place on the week commencing October 27th.

What is the prize money for winning the fourth round?
Already this season, Wrexham have made a bit of money from the Carabao Cup. After Wrexham beat Hull City in the first round, owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac pocketed £5,000, then £7,000 after winning the second round, and £10,000 after the third round.
If Wrexham can win in the fourth round, not only will they book themselves a spot in the quarter-final, but they’ll also win £15,000 in prize money.
